Dan is ...............(well, here's what he's been doing)
- Yesterday, he talked to each houseguest alone in the HOH room.
- Ollie, Jerry and Michelle all told him they want Keesha out of the house.
- Michelle continued to ask Dan if she was going up; he said repeatedly to ask Ollie about the deal; there was more to it than people realized. (he would not answer her directly ever)
- Dan planted a seed of doubt about Ollie to Renny, hoping she would target Ollie soon. It worked (for the moment).......all he did was ask her if she said something to Ollie about having a deal. (because Ollie told him Renny asked him if they had one to keep Michelle safe)
- Dan told Keesha that everyone was after her. (getting her focus on the others as well) and that Jerry called her a name, but he wouldn't tell her what that name was. (it was so-----middle school-ish---that entire conversation)
- Dan told Keesha that he protected her from Ollie, but not to let Renny know that because Renny would suspect that they had a secret deal.
- Dan told Memphis that everyone is after Keesha. They don't want anyone to know they are working together and think that everyone being after Keesha is a good thing for them.
Renny and Keesha compared notes after their talks with Dan. Dan thinks they don't do that. (could be his downfall---him thinking that no one compares notes)
Ollie and Michelle can't wait to see the look on the other's face when one of their side goes up and Michelle or Ollie do not. (Ollie can't have a bigger ego at the moment---)
This morning..........: - Dan has decided he wants to go around to everyone in the POV meeting and have each person name who they think should be the replacement nominee. (except Dan is telling them who to say) Renny is not happy with this at all and says he's just trying to put a target on the rest of them. (he is) Memphis told him it really wasn't a good idea. Dan thinks it will make for great tv. (Dan's hoping in doing this that it will keep people from knowing he and Memphis are together) --Renny and Keesha talk privately afterwards and decide they won't say anyone's name unless their name is said and then will say, 'Well, you said my name so I guess I'll say your's"---Renny says she thinks Dan is trying to get the focus off of Memphis.
- Dan is asking Ollie to name Renny as the person he wants to go up. (Ollie wants Keesha up though)
Ok........I understand that Dan is 'playing the game' but watching him on the feeds, I have to wonder if he's playing it too hard right now in trying to get any blame or focus off of him and underestimating his competitors. (just my opinion of course) Once this pov ceremony happens, everything he said to both sides is going to come out........guess we'll just sit back and watch the fireworks!

Dan is way overthinking, overscheming. It will be his downfall. For some reason he thinks he can pass the buck for all dirty deeds. He doesn't understand that he'll be blamed regardless, if for no other reason because he was stupid enough to pass the buck. He is absolutely underestimating everyone in the house and he is pissing all of them off. He has no strong supporter in the house now. No one is buying his little whipped puppy routine and even if they were who can respect THAT?. Memphis has already abandoned the alliance that Dan is trying to keep secret, only Dan hasn't figured that out. Dan's best move is to "save" Jerry at the last minute in exchange for Jerry's agreeing not to put him up next time (as if Jerry might win HoH), then nominate Michelle and boot her obnoxious butt out the door. That would leave Ollie with only one way to save himself, meaning to win HoH or POV. With any luck at all, Ollie would thus be the next to go. Jerry, Renny and Keesha should then form an alliance and try go get rid of Dan and Memphis. If all goes well, Keesha and Renny would wind up in the final 2. But none of this will work unless the stars line up precisely. Right now, Dan is blowing smoke all over the sky so it's hard to even SEE the stars. What a dope. No wonder he's a Right Winger and a Bible thumper.
They are all making me crazy! Dan is definitely trying to hard, but it makes for great viewing. Thanks for all the updates, they really help sort though everything that's going on in the house. It's hard to follow everyone, all the time!
I think that week when Dan was AP, really went to his head. The man has a talent to redirect folks towards others taking the heat off him. He might be one of the smartest players to date. But I do agree he need to mellow out, or his butt will be gone! My 1st season with SHO2, needless to say, many sleepless nights in upstate NY!

Both anon's---I agree, Dan needs to pull it back some. Even his own alliance tried to tell him that a few times today......as Renny said, "We could have moved a step further without all the bullsh*t."
I just hope that all of this game play isn't going to come back and bite Dan in the butt next week. We'll just have to see. He's definitely going to have some 'splainin' to do isn't he?!
