highlights for Friday July 31, 2009:

Russell's enjoying the HOH room/being very calm (not egotistical like previous HOH holders)Reading his letter from home, listening to music.
The have nots found out their food for the week is squash and squid.
Jessie was not happy at all and cursed the voters.
Kevin threw the squid away. (pictured above)
New Alliance between Jeff and Russell--they decide to team up and are the HGA (Hot Guy Alliance)
They are talking about whether to put up Kevin or Lydia with Ronnie.
Jessie told Natalie he doesn't think anyone would actually use the mystery power if they get it, unless they were on the block.



Russell/Ronnie talk-----Ronnie tells Russell that Jeff and Jordan tried to get him to put him (russell) on the block. He tells him that Jeff called him a bully in the first week. Russell asks Ronnnie what his deal with Lydia and Kevin is---he says he has none. Ronnie tells him that he wants to see Lydia and Kevin on the block. Ronnie is sucking up bigtime telling him he owes Russell (and Jessie) for saving him and keeping him in the house. Ronnie's throwing Lydia under the bus/ Russell tells Ronnie that Lydia's throwing her under the bus. Ronnie's doing a good job at getting Russell riled up at Lydia, so it seems........but, he just told Jeff he was going to lie to Ronnie, so more than likely this is all a big act on Russell's part. He's not mentioned at all to Ronnie that he would be going on the block. He's letting Ronnie think he's 'advising him' on who to put up. Ronnie is acting like he knows exactly who to put up and why. Russell just told Ronnie that alot of people in the house really like him. (yep, he's lying) He's questioning Ronnie now about when Jessie and when they've talked, etc. Ronnie asks Russell if he's in any potential danger of being put up---Russell says no so Ronnie starts throwing Jeff and Jordan under the bus in a big way---telling them they were the ones stirring up trouble in week one.

Russell/Michele talk:--Michele says she's happy the 'wise and powerful Russell' is HOH. She tells him she has his back and she says there's two people in the house who should leave and it's Lydia and Kevin. She says Kevin lies/makes up stories about Ronnie. She tells him that Kevin is going to put up Russell. He asks her about Ronnie----she says he's not been the nicest guy to her/he's a manipulator/arrogant. Russell tells her that Ronnie just came in and mentioned her as one of the names to put up for eviction and wants her to go home this week. (he did mention her name once but only as a pawn--Russell is working Michele for her vote against Ronnie) He goes on to tell her that Ronnie said Michele was gunning for Russell and wants to take him out (he didn't--Russell is beating Ronnie at his own game now)......that gets Michele going/she's says, "OK, Let's be honest"----Michele tells him that Ronnie's target is Russell and that he said he was going to throw this last competition to let her or Chima win, so 'they' could put Russell up and get him out. He asks when this was said, Michele says, "Everyday". Russell tells Michele that Ronnie said, "Take Michele out"---(this is really getting Michele mad at Ronnie--she's says she's going to kick him out of her room) Russell asks her if he put Ronnie and Lydia up who would she vote for........my gosh, it takes Michele forever to answer this question but she finally says she would vote for Ronnie. He continues to tell her Ronnie can not be trusted and that they do not want Ronnie in the jury house.

Russell tells her Ronnie is going up and he wants him to leave. He tells her not to tell anyone and that she's the first one to know.

Michele telling Russell about Jessie pulling her into an alliance last week and that Jessie was the ringleader. (she thinks) Russell's learning that the alliance was Michele, Natalie, Jessie, Ronnie and Chima. She tells Russell that Jessie said he was going to save her with the POV last week and that she knows she was the last person added to the alliance. Russell's learning alot from Michele!




Russell/Kevin talk:--Kevin says he's still loyal to the original group of people (before cliques broke up--Jessie, Natalie, Chima, Lydia, Ronnie, Russell) He talks in circles and says a bunch of nothing. He seems afraid to say anything --just keeps saying he'll respect what Russell does. He asks him who he would put up.....Kevin says he would put up Ronnie/Michele. Russell tells Kevin that Ronnie said he wanted to get Kevin out of the game this week. Russell continues to tell him Ronnie has been throwing Kevin under the bus. He's wrapping up another vote for Ronnie to go.



Russell/Jordan talk:--Russell tells her that it was his idea to keep her safe in the deal with Jeff. She's thankful; he tells her he wants Ronnie gone. Jordan promises Russell he will never go up if she wins HOH. They consider each other friends. They talk about if Ronnie wins the mystery power----they hope it won't go to him. Russell says if Ronnie makes it to the jury house---none of them (Russell, Michele, Jordan or Jeff) will win the game. He tells her he worries Jessie would take Ronnie off the block if he won Veto.




Russell/Lydia talk: Russell tells Jordan to stay. Lydia says word is he's putting up Lydia and Kevin. She tells him she is saving a ;nugget of information' to tell him after the nominations. (she says she can't tell Jordan--Jordan offers to leave) Russell smiles at her and tells her to keep his confidence on all they talked about.........



Russell asks what the nugget is.......she tells him that his clique has made it very clear they would be voting him out as soon as they could. He says, 'who?' ..She tells him that it was Jessie and Natalie. She says she convinced Ronnie not to backdoor him (Russell) and that Natalie and Jessie were all for it. She continues to say Natalie and Jessie talk about him all the time and they plan to get rid of him. She says if you want to target one of the weirdos--fine, but at least I had the balls to tell you the truth. (about J/N) Lydia says Russell has turned into this adorable, loving person since he won HOH.

Russell tells Lydia he wants Ronnie to go home. She says she knows he's going to put her up against him. He says he's not answering/not decided on the other person as of yet. She says if she gets to vote, she will vote him out.

Lydia tries to tell him to put up two people he wouldn't mind seeing go home. He asks her about Jessie/Natalie. She says Natalie is starstruck by Jessie and Jessie loves the attention. Who would she pick to go home between Natalie, Jessie and Chima. Lydia says Natalie. Russell says that's not smart/she doesn't win anything. Russell says, 'so you have a deal with Jessie then?'---Lydia says she has no deals with anyone. Ronnie comes in, says he is board, can he sit........Russell says 'you were the HOH once, you know how this works, doing the rounds' Ronnie leaves.

Russell asks Lydia who she would put up---she says Ronnie and anyone else but me. Russell again says he thinks Ronnie will get the mystery power. Lydia says, 'why does no one think that me or Kevin could be the choice!?!'

Russell says so you think I shouldn't trust Jessie now? She says just take what they (Jess/Nat) say with a grain of salt. Basically, she says they're using him.



Russell/Jessie/Natalie/Chima talk: Russell tells them he was just told they all want to take him out. They laugh; say they'll call her (Lydia) out. He tells them that Lydia said Jessie was going to get him out and those three have an agreement to get him out asap. Chima wants to know if Lydia is going up/Russell says yes. Chima and Natalie are pissed/want to know why they are friends with her ---Jessie says we haven't talked to her since Russell won HOH. Chima says she's not talking to her anymore. Natalie tells Russell that Lydia wants him out and not in the jury house. Chima says Lydia is a 'effin' bipolar drama queen who will suck your d*ck to get ahead'----(wonder what Jessie's thinking about that comment.....)Natalie says she will use her body to stay ahead in this game. He asks them if he has their votes to get Ronnie out--Natalie and Chima say yes, but Jessie doesn't answer. (he looks to be praying over his slop)



Russell tells them that Ronnie threw them all under the bus as well. Chima demands to know what was said. He tells her that Ronnie wanted her and Michele up. Chima calls him a fat ass.

Ronnie walks in and says he want Lydia out of this house now. Russell laughs/Jessie's in deep thought.

Russell as HOH has finally made the feeds very interesting---lots of game going on now.
